ποΈ Tax-free shopping β explained simply
As a visitor from a non-EU country, you can benefit from a VAT refund. We process refunds via Global Blue and Planet.
1. Shopping
Shop at participating stores and ask for a tax-free form when you pay β or go to the information point, where some export certificates are also issued.
Requirements:
- Residence outside the EU
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Minimum purchase value: 75,01 β¬
Important note:
- Only goods for private export are eligible for a refund
- Services and spare parts are excluded
2. Obtain a customs stamp
Have your tax-free form stamped by customs when leaving the EU.
Duty-free imports into Switzerland up to CHF 150 per person per day.
Please note:
- Austria must be you final stop within the EU
Deadlines:
- Confirmation within 3 months + the month of purchase
- Validity of the form: 3 years
Required documents:
- Passport
- Purchased goods
- Tax-free from including receipts
3.Recieving your refund
You can collect your refund conveniently at the Information Point in Messepark.
Please bring the following with you:
- ID
- Completed export declaration (with customs stamp)
- Original Invoice
Refund limit: up to 1.500 β¬
Refund options:
